The Georgetown Difference

For more than 200 years, Georgetown University has been educating tomorrow’s leaders on the global stage. We offer a reputation for academic excellence embodied by global projects, distinctive courses, and activities that leverage the rich fabric of our network. Through a values-based approach, a Master’s in International Business and Policy from Georgetown provides you more than the skills to succeed and a professional return on investment.

In a world where global multinationals wield the kind of power once reserved for nation-states and where governments are increasingly pressured to run countries like for-profit enterprises, Georgetown’s Master’s in International Business and Policy offers a unique opportunity to equip professionals with the theoretical frameworks and essential skills required to navigate today’s complex international landscape. The program offers a unique blend of coursework from both business and foreign policy disciplines, ensuring an equal opportunity for professionals ‒ whether joining from the public or private sector ‒ to encounter a proportionate educational challenge while also being able to contribute meaningfully.

Michelle Bigold (IBP Alumna)

Understanding how international institutions facilitate agreements between countries and the historical events that created these institutions has been invaluable. It has allowed me to identify growing markets and the interdependencies within specific geographies. The faculty members were of the highest standards, and my cohort brought so much learned global experience to the classroom sessions that the faculty/cohort discussions were as educational as the readings and assignments. Even after all these years, the relationships and bonds we built as a cohort remain strong and enduring.

Dr. Lavan Srinarayanadas, M.D. (IBP Alumnus)
